Ryder Cup apps price in very different ways. One-time. Per event. Per trip. Membership. It makes them hard to compare.
So here is the cost for the three most common friend-group sizes. Prices come from each app's own pages, checked in November 2026. They can change.

- CupTracker: iPhone. Handicap strokes assigned automatically. Alternate shot, shamble and more. Spectator web link.
- Golf GameBook: iOS and Android. Five match play formats in Reds vs Blues, including foursome and greensome. Social feed.
- Squabbit: free core with every format, group chat and a public tournament website.
- Golf Genius Trip Manager: trip website, pairings and leaderboards for big trips.
One-time vs recurring
If you run a cup every year, the model matters.
- Per event or per trip costs come back every trip.
- Memberships and yearly plans renew until you cancel.
- MATCHUPS lists $49.99 as one-time for 8 or 12 players.
Check each app's own page for exactly what one payment covers.
How to choose
- Count your players. That narrows the list.
- Check phones. Android rules out iPhone-only apps.
- Check formats. Need alternate shot? Need strokes per hole?
- Then compare price per player.
